The Electric Energy Society of Australia needed a fresh face. Their brief was simple, the new logo had to;
This logo does just about that. Blue and green are present, an ion is depicted, and all of the electrons form the Southern Cross. Doesn’t get more Australian than that (the Southern cross, not the ion).
*An atom or molecule with a net electric charge due to the loss or gain of one or more electrons. For context, 4 rings + 4 electrons = atom, but 4 rings + 5 or 3 electrons = ion.
